The Gatton is our premium rendition of the first solid body “Spanish style” electric guitar to be commercially mass-produced back in the early 1950’s. Though straight forward in design, session players and touring musicians alike praise it for it’s versatility. The warm neck and twangy bridge tones produced by this instrument can be heard on recordings from nearly every genre of popular music. Our standard model features a traditional lightweight ash body, 3-way pickup selector, two hand wound single coil pickups, and your choice of a rosewood or maple fretboard.
The Gatton comes standard with swamp Ash in solid or semi-hollow options. This makes it light, resonant, and a total dream for players of all styles. Also available in Alder or special woods upon request.
Vintage style Kluson tuners, your choice of a Rosewood or Maple fretboard, and our "vintage worn" finish you have to try to believe. You’ll feel like you’ve owned it your entire life. Other options include Brazilian Rosewood Slab Board, 5A Flame Maple, 5A Birdseye, and Quarter-sawn Maple.

All Gattons come stock with our TMG "T Style" pickups. They deliver all the great tones you would expect from a spanish style guitar. We can only describe them as Vintage correct with the right amount of "twang". Made only with the best NOS materials and winded for one of the best single coil experiences you could only dream of. Other options include our custom TMG P90's, "Tron" style pickups from TV Jones, or our special TMG PAF's.
